Explore Phuoc Tin's Cordyceps Farm

King of Cordyceps

Phuoc Tin’s Cordyceps Farm was established in 2019 following the model of a household in Da Lat city. Up to now, Phuoc Tin has been a company that grows and distributes cordyceps with the goal of bringing countless nutritional, medicinal, and humanity to customers. We are currently cultivating high-quality Cordyceps in a controlled natural environment with standard procedures under strict food safety regulations.

Our farm has the ability to supply a total quantity of 60kg/month of various dried products.

We maintain proper, clean hygiene, and follow all food industry-standard procedures throughout the growing process, from substrate preparation, transplanting, incubation, harvesting, drying, and packaging.

Phuoc Tin Company has researched how to grow Cordyceps militaris on the basis of different synthetic organic materials successfully, launched a variety of Cordyceps products that serves different needs for customers, like plant-based diet, no milk eggs diet or vegan with eggs and milk diet, from sick to normal people who want to improve their health and immune systems ... Our process of cultivating Cordyceps is transferred from senior scientists from Vietnam National Institute of Medicine, and that is our pride

In 2020, Phuoc Tin Company will start implementing a higher level of safety procedures for food safety: HACPP standards for Cordyceps products at Dalat farm. All are geared towards manufacturing high quality products, meeting export standards with 4-star OCOP certification.

Farming process

Prepare the room for growing - Cordyceps is grown on brown rice biomass

The system of the growing room is prepared from light, humidity to temperature.

+ The room must be absolutely sterile and have natural brightness and ventilation.

+ Equipped with a misting system to create the necessary humidity (70 - 85%)

+ Equipped with a cooling system to keep the temperature stable (18 - 20 degrees C)

+ Truss system and rack for placing substrate jars, feeding bottles

+ Lighting system ...

Preparing a growing medium is the most important step in growing cordyceps mushrooms.

The culturing medium of cordyceps is a mixed solution from the materials of brown rice, cereals, and pureed silkworm pupae at the rate determined with some essential trace elements. The substrate will be put into the substrate vials and autoclaved for 2 hours. Then it will be transferred to a cold room to wait for it to cool and begin to transplant.

Conducting aquaculture

Cultivation techniques are divided into 4 clear stages: fiber raising, fruiting, fruiting, and harvesting.

Stages of cultivating cordyceps

+ Fiber culture stage: The substrate vials after being transplanted will move into the dark fiber room with humidity 75-80% and temperature 18 - 20 degrees C for 10 days. Until the mycelium has eaten the entire surface of the biomass, it will move to the fruiting stage.

+ Forming phase: The substrate jars will be transferred to the lighting room to ensure light 12 hours/day with the intensity of 1000 Lux, humidity 75 - 80%, and temperature 18 - 20 degrees C. Every day open the door 2 times in the morning and evening for 30 minutes each time for air circulation. About 15 days later the tiny mushroom tips will grow to the surface of the biomass medium and transition to the third stage.

+ The stage of fruiting: Continue to keep the jars of the substrate at lighting mode 12 hours/day, the humidity increases to 80 - 85%, reduce the light to 700 Lux, keep the temperature. Every day, open the door of the room 2 times and monitor it regularly to remove broken jars, mold, and avoid spreading. After about 2 months on the elongated top, fungal spores will appear.

+ Harvesting stage: It is observed that the mushroom tops turn a darker yellow color than the mushroom body is the time to harvest.

+ Drying and packaging stage: after Harvesting stage, drying is the highest technical stage to achieve good results in the product preservation process. We use the most advanced drying technology for current foods to dry cordyceps: sublimation drying technology. This is an extremely important technical stage, making a big decision on product quality that not all business people can understand. The technical team of Phuoc Tin has tested and researched to find out the secret of drying cordyceps, preserving precious pharmaceutical substances in the product, not being lost due to improper drying techniques. At present, we have completed the optimal drying technique and procedure with approximately 50 hours of drying time per batch.

Cordyceps on silkworm pupae

With the goal of recreating the same developmental process as wild cordyceps, bringing a higher source of medicinal substances compared to other methods, the insect chosen by Phuoc Tin is silkworm pupae and the product we created is a very special and rare type of cordyceps from silkworm pupae in Vietnam. Precious Cordycepin active elements in cordyceps silkworm pupae are many times higher than those cultured on other substrates.

"Strictly select each one of thousands of still alive and healthy silkworm nymphs, carefully separate the males and females, and then inject the cordyceps spores into their bodies, leave in the environment of the proper condition"

“After injecting the cordyceps spore, silkworm pupae must always be active to eliminate the cordyceps spore from the body. However, in a struggle to survive for weeks or months, the cordyceps spore will win and kill the silkworm pupae. Eventually, this insect's body will develop into a new body, a new shape, literally called an herbaceous insect ".

“The main way of doing this is to regenerate a new herbaceous body from a wild insect."

The relation between buddha religion and cordyceps – the vegan cordyceps

Truong Sinh Tien Duoc Thao OR Immortality Herb Cordyceps

This is unique and successful study of Phuoc Tin in the culinary field.

With the desire of vegetarian users to have complementary food that can support the body's resistance and good healing, we have researched to create a unique vegan Cordyceps.

The culture process does not involve any animals' source and the cordyceps completely farm from brown rice, grain, etc.

The inherent medicinal properties of this product are selected and enhanced in the product, especially with a very high content of two precious active ingredients: Cordycepin & Adenosine (see test table), providing vegetarians with precious nutrients, the ability to heal, and increasing the body's immune system that other plant-based vegetarian foods could not provide.

The relation of cordyceps and bird’s nest

Yen Vuong Tien Duoc Thao – Bird’s nest herbal cordyceps

Here's another unique and successful study. Phuoc Tin is constantly searching and improving product quality to continuously produce new products with outstanding nutritional value.

In the process of customer consultation and food processing from edible bird’s nest, we have realized the great resonance between edible bird’s nest and cordyceps. Customers who use EBN with cordyceps have positive feedback. This is the motivation for Phuoc Tin to research sucessful product of "Yen Vuong Tien duoc thao". The launch of the product is the outstanding combination of edible bird’s nest and cordyceps, demonstrating our relentless passion for our products.

We have boldly brought the topic of this association to the scientists for further study. The current preliminary results are very encouraging.

For vegetarians who can eat eggs, milk, this is a nutritious vegetarian dish because the production process does not use any supplemental dietary from animals except for edible bird’s nest.
